#1P 1911 rig. The holster is my copy of the late custom holster maker, Bruce Nelson's Number One Professional. My designation for this holster is #1 Pistol (or #1P). The matching double magazine pouch is DMP. This rig is built from vegetable tanned cowhide in rough-side-out, left natural russet color. I build all of my belts curved ( i.e. contoured) as they break-in quicker, and are more comfortable. Have you noticed that your belts end up curved after months of wear. [The contoured concealed carry belt is another Bruce Nelson benchmark.] |
#1R - Number One Revolver holster. This is a take off of Bruce Nelson and Milt Sparks design. This Illustration is for a S&W 5 inch N-frame. It is built rough-out and the color is natural russet. The contrasting mouth band is grain-side out and it was hand tooled with a basket-weave design. This is very sturdy and sits low making it a good choice for females ... if you dress around it, it serves well for concealed carry and it's a stalwart range holster. For concealed carry I prefer it with four inch revolvers.

Fed-carrier cartridge pouch - a 2X2X2 design. A pouch of this design was issued by many Federal agencies during the day of the double-action revolver. Illustrated here is a .45 Colt caliber. It's also available in .44Spl/.44Mag, and .38Spl/.357Mag. NOTE: this pouch is belt width specific. When unsnapped it is designed to drop open at about 45 degrees - that does depend on belt width. It can be made without the 45 degree stop if you want it to drop all six cartridges when unsnapped. |
IWB-1 is my copy of the late Bruce Nelson's Summer Special. This is undoubtedly the most copied inside the pants holster. The rig illustrated is built from medium weight leather and is ideal for concealed carry and hard range use. The single magazine pouch, also an inside the pants model is - IWB-SMP. This holster can be build of light weight leather for concealed carry and light range use. |

#1RPH - S&W 2 inch J-Frame pocket holster. The holster illustrated is built rough-side-out, the mouth band is hand tooled horse hide. The mouth band serves as a push-off if the holster becomes snagged during presentation (the draw). This holster fits pockets of regular and relaxed styled jeans, and trousers like Dockers, Chinos and Royal Robbins 511s. |
Butt Cuff - butt stock cartridge carrier. I build this carrier for several rifle calibers and the 12 ga. shotgun. Carry strap - I don't call it a sling but you can loop up in several positions with this strap. This is not a military design rifle sling, but it is a sturdy strap. |
